One of our soldiers was martyred

The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) reported that Infantry Contract Private Yusuf Sait Ünlü, who was injured by fire during the intervention to the border crossing incident in Hakkari Yüksekova, was martyred despite the intervention in the hospital where he was taken.

In the statement made by the Ministry, it was recorded that:

"Our comrade-in-arms, Infantry Contract Private Yusuf Sait Ünlü, who was injured by fire during the intervention to a border crossing incident in the 7th Border Brigade Command Yüksekova Hakkari region on October 31, was martyred despite all the interventions made at Hakkari State Hospital, where he was taken by helicopter. May God have mercy on our beloved martyr who lost his life in this incident that filled us with deep pain and sadness, and his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces and noble "We extend our condolences and wish patience to our nation."
